A founding partner of Alliance Counsel, David brought to our firm over twenty years of experience, both as former in-house counsel for two technology companies and as a partner in private practice. Prior to founding Alliance Counsel, he built a successful practice based on an "Outsourced General Counsel" model, managing all legal matters for a variety of small and mid-size companies.

In addition to his thriving corporate practice, David was well known for his work with environmental groups, non-profit organizations, and individuals in need. His dedication to being of service to others was evident throughout his professional and personal life. After being diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) in 2003, he became a great advocate for alternative treatment approaches to western medicine, including three years spent in South America both participating in alternative treatment and facilitating such treatment for the benefit of others. In keeping with his dedication to community, David founded Heaven’s Helpers, a non-profit employing and training young Brazilians to aid the many infirm and disabled visitors to a spiritual healing center in Abadiânia, Brazil.

David brought to our firm and to our lives an unparalleled joy in living, passion for art and nature, gently mischievous sense of humor, deep spiritual understanding and unconditional love for others. He is greatly missed.
