Evan Kraus - Partner

As a partner with Alliance Counsel, Evan Kraus brings more than 20 years of corporate and commercial law experience. In his career, he has held positions at leading law firms such as Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw & Pittman and inside Bay Area private companies as general counsel. Mr. Kraus also has ten years of management experience and held securities licenses at Charles Schwab & Co., American Century Investments and a Bay Area private equity firm.

Mr. Kraus has represented a broad range of public and private companies and investment partnerships in connection with mergers and acquisitions, private debt and equity financings, corporate restructurings, licensing, employment and commercial law matters. He has extensive experience drafting and negotiating startup documents such as operating agreements, stockholders' agreements, restricted stock purchase agreements, employment agreements, partnering agreements, as well as debt and equity instruments. Mr. Kraus advises such companies as NewGen Surgical, Biosynq, Yoga Journal, Fresh Start NorCal and real estate investment partnerships managed by Magna Real Estate and Broll Investments.

Mr. Kraus graduated from Brandeis University (B.A.) and Emory University School of Law (J.D.) and is admitted to practice law in California and Minnesota.
